More and more literary works are created by women, who shape the world from a perspective of women. In the twelfth century wrote Marie de France, in the next century Christine de Pisan. The second one were beloved by the King Charles. Christine de Pisan widowed at the age of 25. The writer objected to the masculine image of the world in work “Roman de la Rose” and began to develop a reflection on the fate and vocation of women. Christine wrote her most literary work, The Book of the City of Ladies. It shows the importance of women’ past contributions to society. In the book created a symbolic city in which women are appreciated and defended. She constructed three allegorical figures – Reason, Justice and Rectitude.
