Description
Its name derives from the German word specifically flausch or flaus which represent a strand. It is a double thick woolen fabric or half-woolen made from carded. Wool is subjected to scratching and shearing, so that it becomes more pleasant to the touch. Although fleece has a rather thick structure, high wool content ensures air circulation that prevents overheating or freezing. That is why it is so popular fabric in the autumn, winter and early spring.
